Originally released on cassette packaged with a bag of "grave dirt" from Mountain View Cemetary in Oakland (it wasn't, sorry, though it was collected from the cemetary grounds). Recorded live on April 4th, 2014 at RDM2 Studios in Livermore, CA.

The content of Séance is made up of selections from a several hour long marathon rehearsal session to prepare for live performances throughout 2014. I'd decided to use an old laptop to record the session to accommodate the long run times but unfortunately the dated hardware couldn't keep up and occasionally "skipped" large chunks which caused most of it to be unusable. Séance was assembled out of the salvageable good takes of each song.

Three tracks, Longing, Burial Policy, and Kill Surf City were left off the original tape and included in this reissue for the first time.
