Originally released on cassette via Bone Orchard in an edition of 20 copies, later reprinted in an issue of 10. Recorded December 2012 through July 2013.

Une femme est une femme has its origins in another full length from the final months of 2012 that was ultimately left unfinished. A few of the tracks that'd been closer to completion ended up forming the basis of the tracklist of Une femme est une femme.

Unfortunately, many spur of the moment creative choices quickly began to rub on me and it wasn't long before the album permanently fell out of print. I'd spent a long time deciding whether or not to "fix" the album before making it available again digitally but have decided to leave it as it was. The core album is presented here exactly as it was originally issued.

In addition, demos of Beautiful Hands, Nights We Spent and Girls in Merzbow Shirts from late 2012 and early 2013 are included here for the first time as well as two live tracks from a January 2013 show and an untitled demo recorded around the time of the release of Une femme est une femme.
