Previously unissued publicly, 3 or 4 copies circulated amongst friends. Studio take recorded live to a Tascam four track sometime around June 2015, live take recorded on July 25th 2015 in Fresno, CA, and home video take recorded sometime in 2015.

This is a sort of lost era in Ambersmoke history previously only represented by two tracks recorded at a live performance in Riverside included on the untitled July 25th 2015 cassette box set. The two core elements of this era were Cameron's liquid light performances (their first appearance with Ambersmoke) accompanying the live set, and a sound built around an incredibly unique, often unpredictable custom pedal at the heart of my setup.

The studio take (with live drums by future Grave Saddles drummer Kevin McVey) is one of my personal favorite things I've been a part of and I'm very excited to present it here for the first time. If my memory is correct, this was the first and only take we played that night. A month or so later, we played a short set together in Fresno which would be the only time Psychedelic Death was performed live. Thankfully the set was recorded as it's an interesting and somewhat more aggressive version than the studio rendition.

The home video take is either from May or late July into August 2015. Unlike the other two, it's a solo performance but I can't quite pin down if it's earlier or later. This version served as the soundtrack to a scrapped VHS release focusing on Cameron's liquid light show while I played just out of frame. The cover art for this digital edition is a still from this unissued tape.

Despite being plans to issue the studio take and play a series of shows to support it, the idea never came to fruition and a spontaneous recording session weeks later in August would dramatically change the course of Ambersmoke from then onward.
